Barb has had a long and energized run as an executive in the advertising industry spending the most significant time at Grey where she began in 1990 and rose to become a senior leader in account management overseeing premier brands like Six Flags, M&M/Mars, Hasbro to name a few. 


By 1999 Barb's entrepreneurial spirit and drive resulted in the creation of Grey Global Group's Youth and Entertainment boutique agency called GWhiz. Barb was the company's CEO and built the agency to be client-centric in approach as she had the ability to get in a room and play a significant role in creating and refining a client's brand strategy and communication.  Under Barb's leadership, GWhiz became one of the top Youth and Entertainment agencies during its 10-year long run. Brands included U.S. Cellular, Konami Video Games, Dairy Queen, Topps Confections, Progressive Car Insurance, Food Network, Bravo Network and W Hotels.  


Barb's career took a slight turn as she left the agency world to become a change agent, revenue driver within the world of Corporate Trade.  For the past 10 years Barb worked with Active International as most recently their CRO, overseeing 96% of the company's overall revenue. She was credited with the creation of the Client Development department, which shifted Active's strategy from a Sales organization to one with the Client at the center, attracting and employing the right talent resulting in double digit growth.  She also spearheaded the Agency Alliance Group, which allowed for huge growth by partnering with Media agencies to bring value based financial solutions to their portfolio of clients by running media through the Active Trading model. This department has grown to represent nearly 40% of the company's revenue. 


Barb's infectious energy and collaborative leadership style made her a great inspiration and motivating force for many who have worked with and for her.  She can be described as entering a room with a smile and comfort that's engaging, warm and her thoughts and ideas always productive.  Her 30+ years experience has given her a purview into so many brands and business challenges, which makes her invaluable.  


Along with Tommy, Barb helped start up The RoundTrip Group as a means to allow her and her colleagues to create effective programs, strategies, solutions that will make a difference in the complex world of marketing today. 

Barb has four children and spends most her spare time enjoying all their life stages.  Going to the Jersey shore in the summer is a passion and spending time with family and friends invaluable.
